Notable Stocks Under $10 (Real Companies, Plain-English Screen)

By Dylan Pak, Founder of OpenTrade·Updated 2026-07-01

A low share price does not make a stock cheap or safe, and most stocks under $10 are there for a reason. This list filters for real companies (market cap over $500M) whose shares happen to trade under $10 today, so you get recognizable names instead of penny-stock junk, each with the plain-English context and the risk.

Data as of 2026-07-01. This is a screen, a snapshot of what the numbers show today, not a buy list. Cheap or low-priced does not mean good.

1. Itau Unibanco Holding SA (ITUB), $8.17

Price $8.17 · market cap $477.6B · P/E 13.7

Itau Unibanco is a major Brazilian bank offering retail and commercial banking services. It screened under $10 with a P/E of 13.7 and P/B of 2.28, appearing cheaper than typical large-cap financials on earnings basis.

2. Banco Bradesco SA (BBD), $3.47

Price $3.47 · market cap $179.4B · P/E 7.5

Banco Bradesco is Brazil's largest private bank providing banking and insurance services. It screened under $10 with a notably low P/E of 7.5 and P/B of 1.03, among the cheapest valuation multiples in this list.

3. NIO Inc (NIO), $5.06

Price $5.06 · market cap $11.3B · P/E n/a (no profit)

NIO designs and manufactures electric vehicles and related services. It screened under $10 despite being unprofitable (negative EPS), with a very high P/B of 17.72 reflecting investor expectations beyond current earnings.

4. Snap Inc (SNAP), $4.44

Price $4.44 · market cap $7.4B · P/E n/a (no profit)

Snap operates a camera-first social messaging platform with advertising revenue. It screened under $10 while unprofitable (negative EPS), relying on P/B of 3.54 for valuation since earnings multiples are not meaningful.

5. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc (CLF), $9.39

Price $9.39 · market cap $5.4B · P/E n/a (no profit)

Cleveland-Cliffs is an iron ore and steel producer for automotive and construction industries. It screened under $10 at a P/B of only 0.93, meaning the stock trades below book value despite current unprofitability.

6. Plug Power Inc (PLUG), $2.71

Price $2.71 · market cap $3.7B · P/E n/a (no profit)

Plug Power develops hydrogen fuel cell systems for material handling and stationary power applications. It screened under $10 while unprofitable (negative EPS), valued by P/B of 4.98 as earnings remain negative.

7. Lucid Group Inc (LCID), $6.69

Price $6.69 · market cap $2.6B · P/E n/a (no profit)

Lucid Group manufactures luxury electric vehicles and powertrains. It screened under $10 despite heavy losses (EPS of negative 10.55), with valuation driven by P/B of 1.29 rather than profitability.

How to actually use this list

A screen tells you where to look, not what to buy. Run any name here through the five questions: what does it do, how does it make money, why is it moving, what is the one real risk, and is it priced for hope or reality. That last one matters most here, because a low price or a low multiple is often the market pricing in a real problem. A good place to start is how to research a stock.

This is exactly why I am building OpenTrade: every idea comes with the plain-English reasoning and the named risk on the same screen, so a cheap stock is never just a number without a why.
